Does anyone know the difference between the "*.sldprt" and "*.SLDPRT" file extensions?

At some point you just have to shoot the engineer and build the dang thing.

RE: File Extension

There is no difference.  File names including file extensions are not case sensitive.

RE: File Extension

Besides the stated obvious, pipe, "*.sldprt" is not a file extension but ".sldprt" is.  The "*" (asterisk) is a wild card that can be used for example to find all files that end in ".sldprt".

RE: File Extension

I ask because I've noticed some of my SW files have uppercase file extensions and others have lowercase file extensions.  I thought it might have to do with the version of SW the part was created in.
