Solidworks-Drawing Template

(OP)
I seem to have lost the Drawing Template in Solidworks, how do I get this back?

RE: Solidworks-Drawing Template

Try running a repair on your SW that should place the default templates back int if you lost the actual file.

At some point you just have to shoot the engineer and build the dang thing.

RE: Solidworks-Drawing Template

Instead of making a bitmap file dsgnr1 make a jpg file it maintains high resolution but is small in size.

RE: Solidworks-Drawing Template

You might want to try searching for the template on your hard drive because on one crash I had many moons ago I lost the "link" to where the templates were located.

search for *.SLDDRT

On a side note, I have a folder simply called "Solidworks Templates" saved in a location other than the SW install location that has all of my custom drawing, part, assembly, blocks, dimension favorites, etc.  If I uninstall SW, I don't lose any custom files.

RE: Solidworks-Drawing Template

If you had created any drawing recently, you can use that to make a new template.
