Is their a way to simply flatten a part and produce a DXF in SolidWorks 2004 SP3 & API?  I'm new to SW, a programmer by trade.  There is existing code that opens SW parts, puts it to a drawing after flattening it and exports to DXF; however, the results don't always flatten the part.  I've not had luck with CreateFlatPatternViewFromModelView2 nor CreateUnfoldedViewAt2 commands, but I am unsure of the proper steps.
