Poor lubrication detection with fft

(OP)
I received a spindle with 7020c P4 pairs at each end. The spindle makes a lot of noise that tell me there is something wrong. I have a vibration sensor with an fft signal. When I look at the spectrum, I see a lot of harmonics but no bearing defect frequencies. The sound reminds me a mislubrication issue. I'd like to know if there is a way to see this kind of problem with an fft signal?
