Portable drill rig

(OP)
Evaluating a mine tailings deposit in Brazil at an isolated site. Need portable drill rig capable of punching through tailings deposit & sometimes water pockets to recover sample at 30m depth. I've heard that GeoProbe works well. Can't find one locally, anything else?  thanx

RE: Portable drill rig

Just a note; geoprobes work best in unconsolidated soils, typically at maximum depths of around 15m.  Although your tailings are mostlikely unconsolidated if you encounter any material larger than gravel you may get refusal at shallow depths.

Fraste makes a "small" rotary drilling rig on tracks that could be flown in with a chopper. They have several that could sample down well below 100m.
