Dimensions/revision box printing in light grey?

Dimensions/revision box printing in light grey?

Dimensions/revision box printing in light grey?

(OP)
Hi, a bit of a stupid problem, but for some reason my drawings have started printing dimensions and my revision box in a very light grey. Some of the dimensions have stayed black as they should be.

It seems that this has only happened now that I have started printing my final drawings in colour. I have looked through my settings but cannot find a reason for this. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Thanks.

Managed to work it out finally. For anyone else who gets this problem:

Go to 'Tools', 'Options', 'System options', 'Colors', then change the color of 'imported annotations (driven)' to black.

Ok, I am not familiar with layers in Solidworks. What is the benefit of using them?

(thanks for the reply)

You could right click on the dimension in drawing view and at the bottom it says Layer just click it and pick Format and you are MONEY.
