Hi
My company bougth Pro-E ½ year ago and we need to implement in the PDM-system.  My company’s PDM system is complicated and our purchaser are at the time only able to se the *.DRW files, not the *.PRT.

So I need a viewer that can view *.drw without the *.prt!???    Is it possible??

I tried the Product view express but the viewer is bad and need an extra file generated *.pic. Our PDM can't handle the extra file without expensive change.

Can anybody help with a viewer??

RE: .DRW viewer

I second that - eDrawings is the way to go.

RE: .DRW viewer

On some drawings, embedding the pic in the drawing caused the file size to be several megabytes. Without the embedded pic the drawings were under 500kb.

I like eDrawings because a complex plastic part file that is 5+ megs in Pro/E shrinks down to less than 200kb. When you install the Pro/E plugin, the process is painless, and (perhaps more importantly) you aren't giving away your Pro/E files.
