Scaling Assemblies

Scaling Assemblies

(OP)
I have a front suspension assembly that is too large for a car frame that I need to put it into, and I'd like to scale the front suspension (the entire assembly) to match the car frame. How can I do that without having to change each indivdual dimension and extrusion within the individual part files?

RE: Scaling Assemblies

create a new part, hit the derive button and then select the assembly. there is an option to scale the whole assembly then.

see tutorials from sean dotsons website on deriving parts.

hope this helps.
