We have found that in SW2006 SP1 when you first open a drawing, your text goes white.  We can get it back to normal but we have to closethe drawing then reopen it.

Sounds like a video card - FAQ559-1058

Can't stress this enough out here, but I do it here on a daily basis:

Make sure you are using a supported card and drivers.

Yeah I know Scott.  The card is supported by SW.  But it is using the drivers from HP, since it is in a HP xw8000 workstation.  Would the driver that HP used be the same as the one on SW website and Nvidia's site.  The card is a Quadro4 380 XGL using driver 6.14.10.5216

RE: White Text on start-up

You've got to make sure that you're using not only a certified card but also the driver that SWX tested. Make sure you're running the same version that they are.

Presuming you've got the HP driver on CD or something so that you can go back, you should definitely try the driver from the SWX site.

When talking "SWX supported" you can't separate the card from the driver.
