When you use rendering and have say, the brick pattern attached to a drawing, does anyone know if the bricks are drawn to scale, aka like an 8" length?

This does not seem to be related to GD&T. Is this question about some CAD system? Please give more details about your question.

I would think it extrememly unlikely that the bricks would automatically be to scale.
However, if you know the dimension of the part you are applying the texture to, you could probably adjust the scale to create the correct number of bricks for that dimension.
