(MDT 2005) ANNOTATION/LEADER NOTE LINE WEIGHT PROBLEM

(MDT 2005) ANNOTATION/LEADER NOTE LINE WEIGHT PROBLEM

(MDT 2005) ANNOTATION/LEADER NOTE LINE WEIGHT PROBLEM

(OP)
When I use the (Annotate/Leader note) command from the pull down menu, The line weight for the text always reverts back to (.05mm)

even though the layer (AM_5) line weight is set to .25mm. (the layer I am on does not seem to make any difference as far as line weight goes)

This causes me to have to individually change every note to the .25mm line weight I need for legible printouts.

I am unable to find any setting to keeping the line weight fixed @ .25mm  for this command function.

Do you know where this command setting is, & how to alter it so that the line weight will remain @ .25mm?
