Solidworks 2005

want to place and cut text into surface but need text larger than 72 points.

Tried using tools/sketch tools/ scale   , but the scale doesn't make the text get any bigger.

How can I make larger text?

RE: Gettting text larger than 72 points

Deselect Use document font & just type in the size, Units or Points, that you want.

RE: Gettting text larger than 72 points

Sorry, that should have read;

When placing the text, deselect Use document font, then click on Font, then just type in the size (Units or Points) that you want.

For text that is already placed, open the sketch, double click the text then continue as per above.
