Design table in assembly?

Design table in assembly?

Design table in assembly?

(OP)
I have a pump assembly which comes in varing sizes and want to know if I can use a design table to alter the configs of each part within the assembly so I can select each size of pump and the assembly will change to suit.

RE: Design table in assembly?

Yes, that is one of the reasons the DT exists. There is much information on the use of DTs in the SW Help files.

I assume you are familiar with creating configs of parts ... creating configs of assemblies is similar. Instead of changing dimensions, the DT changes part configs.

Many thanks, Ill have a look into the help files some more

RE: Design table in assembly?

If you go through the Tutorials you would have already been made aware of this... Sounds to me like you need to learn SW more before getting into Complex modeling. This will lead to problems later if you don't understand what you are doing or how to achieve design intent in SW.
