Help exploding/explode Excel files in AutoCad 2002 LT

(OP)
I use excel to type up bill of materials on all of my autocad electrical drawings.  The problem with this is that some of my customers can't plot the drawing properly for what ever reason.  One of my fellow engineers has exploding a Excel Bill of material one time but can't remember how he did it.  After it was exploded it left all the test in tact and created all of the cells using polylines.  I want to explode these so my customers can view them easily.  How is this done?  When we place these Bill of materials into autocad we just type it up in excel and then just copy and paste into autocad, it's that easy.  Please help as this is extremely frustrating.

Thanks

steve

How are you pasting the excel document into AutoCAD? If you want to convert the document into AutoCAD entities just copy the document to clipboard and Edit > Paste Special > As AutoCAD Entities...

I would recommend upgrading to a later version. The table tool would probably be real handy in this situation.
