Dual Dimensions

Dual Dimensions

Does anyone know if there is the ability to selectively modify placement of the dual dimension units (side, top, etc)? I can only change the display as a global property. I am running 2006. One of my co-workers fels he needs to do this on a drawing that contains a large amount of dimensions.

RE: Dual Dimensions

No there isn't you are limited to what the options give you.

Most of the time what options you have maybe due to the standard you are using... but I don't think even then you have to ability to move the Dual Dim where ever you want it.

Have him check the standard that he is using and see if it's the proper rule or not.

Thanks for the reply. We ended up changing all the text to run vertically on the drawing. This seems to solve the problem.

Sorry I did not reply sooner.
