Stresses Induced within Ring of Fasteners

(OP)
Can anyone suggest a source for a simplified analysis for a ring of fasteners.

I have a method which uses a linear model (Fulcrum). Not sure of the source and accuracy of the results.

thanks

Paul

RE: Stresses Induced within Ring of Fasteners

I have seen several models used.
Using the sum of the moments:
One about the central neutral axis.
Another about the nearest bolt.
Another about the od of a ring.
Another about the edge of the plate.
You might check on the internet for
sign or lighting posts and their
regulations.
