Displaying Tif files in LT

Displaying Tif files in LT

Displaying Tif files in LT

(OP)
Hey Everyone

Maybe someone can help with a problem i'm having.  In my office we are currently running Autocad 2005 LT.  The problem is i need to work with a drawing that has a Tif file in it.  This file wont display on the drawing. i just get a string of text showing the path to the file.  I am assuming i cannot view this file because LT doesnt support Tif.  I have tried manually inserting a Tif as an OLE object with no luck as well.  Just a Tif symbol.  Is there someway i can display this file in AutoCAD? i have tried converting it to a Bitmap but it still wouldnt import probably because of the size.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Tyler

I'm running the Canadian English version.  I still cant get it to work.  I was able to insert it as a bitmap but the quality was crap because i had to resize it.

RE: Displaying Tif files in LT

As far as I know tifs will work with LT. Did you verify the file path? Sounds like the path is incorrect or the tif file got moved.
