Spot Weld Forces in ANSYS

Spot Weld Forces in ANSYS

(OP)
I have a spot welded sheet metal structure that I am modelling.  I need to determine the forces acting on the spot welds.  Does anyone know how to extract the forces form the spot welds that ANSYS creates?

RE: Spot Weld Forces in ANSYS

Hi

You can get all nodal forces with the nodal calc commando in the general postproc. Use the summation pt. commando and then the total forces sum. The get all the nodal forces. Hope it helps
