Simple GUI question

Simple GUI question

Simple GUI question

(OP)
hi there,
i have created a program with a few GUI dialogs all works fine but i have found that when another GUI opens the previous dialog box is still selectable. what i want is that you have to exit the present dialog before returning to the previous dialog. an example of this is the "Example: Using the Modal Dialog to Confirm an Operation" in the help files. i want my GUI to behave in this manor but looking at the layout and M-files i can't seem to find what determines this behaviour. is it somethink to do with the parent and child parameters?
Cheers
Mike
