Snow Load per Mass State Building Code 1980's

Snow Load per Mass State Building Code 1980's

(OP)
Does anyone have a copy of the Massachusetts State Building Code (MSBC) from 80's?  I am trying to find out BASIC SNOW LOAD in Shrewsbury, MA, specified according to 80's MSBC.  The current MSBC divides the state into 4 different zones and gives the values for Pf in each zone (Section 1610.2, Figures 1610.1A to 1610.1D).  Shrewsbury is in Zone 3 with Pf of 35psf, but I need to verify whether this was the case in 1988.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.

RE: Snow Load per Mass State Building Code 1980's

dsuh,

I have a copy of the 5th edition of the Mass Building Code that went into effect on 03/24/95. It gives the same value of snow load for Zone 3 as the current (6th edition) code.

Looks like you need a 4th edition.

I also have an old ANSI A-58-1982. It indicates Worcester, MA as being squarely in a 40 psf zone.
