I can't imagine how rubbish the electrics must have been to get electrocuted from a microphone, even when standing in water and simultaneously holding a water tap!

Like that french singer who got zapped dead after trying to change a lightbulb while taking a bath.  (the story did not tell what substances were in his blood at that moment...)  240VAC is less forgiving than 120VAC.
