Calculation yaw moment with 2 accelerometers
Calculation yaw moment with 2 accelerometers
(OP)
Can anybody help me with the following:
I'm trying to calculate the yaw moment of a racecar. To do this I have an accelerometer on both front and rear axle available. Can anybody help me work out the maths?
Thanks!

RE: Calculation yaw moment with 2 accelerometers
Are your accelerometers in the y axis (lateral?)
If so yaw velocity = integral (yaw acceleration) dt
yaw acc= (AyF-AyR)/wheelbase*constant
The value of the constant depends on the units of the accelerometer and your desired units for yaw velocity
