Suggest an air flow / velocity meter with RS232

Suggest an air flow / velocity meter with RS232

(OP)
I'm looking for a meter to measure air flow through a 6" PVC pipe.  I have some data logging software that communicates with RS232 that I would like to use to capture the data.  I'm using google but most of what I find are hand held units, I would like one to mount in the PVC line.

Any suggestions?

Did you check with Krone? They base upon MODBUS(I think they also have direct RS232)  and it should be easy for you.

Sorry "quark" when I go to your link I get a meter that measures liquids. I think the guy is asking about air flow. Try www.dwyer-inst.com, Series 641 Air Velocity Transmitter and LCI308 Panel Meter Indicator with RS/232 option card. You'll need to call the factory.

Please remember this will measure velocity. If you need mass, you will need a pressure transducer, temperature element and a flow computer to do compensation.
