Hi,

Can someone please assist me on how to generate a high frequency (at least up to 1MHz) white noise on hardware?  Please direct me to a link where there is a schematic.  Any help is appreciated!

The simplest answer is to put current through a schottky diode. This will give broadband noise as required. It is best to use the current noise into the inverting input of an opamp and perhaps AC couple the noise into another stage.

This should be enough to get you going on a design unless you are not a designer. In which case just buy a noise source as used on noise figure test sets.

The ARRL handbooks (and similar) almost always have the RF 'white noise' generator circuits that cover at least the HF bands. They use common garden-variety parts, nothing fancy.

If you're having trouble finding a circuit, then Google 'Noise Bridge' because it will contain the noise source as part of the circuit.
