What's the difference between SPLIT LINE PROJECTION and PROJECTED CURVE SKETCH ONTO FACE ?

RE: What's the difference between SPLIT LINE PROJECTION and

One splits the surfaces it's projected onto and the other simply places a curve on the surface(s).  Each has a unique purpose.

RE: What's the difference between SPLIT LINE PROJECTION and

The difference is basically this.

Split line projection takes a sketch, projects it onto a face and then splits the face where the projection of the sketch meets that face such that you can click and select inside the split line it highlights as a separate face all together.

Curve projected to face is there to do pretty much the same thing except it leaves the face in tact and just makes a curve entity on that face.

hope that helps

Jon
