Pro/Mechanica and WinXP?

Pro/Mechanica and WinXP?

Pro/Mechanica and WinXP?

(OP)
I have previously run Pro/M in Windows2000 and it worked fine. I have now changed to Windows XP and it dosen't seams too work. I just can't install it.
It's very frustrating and i'm woundering if anyone now how it install Pro/M in XP IF it's possible...

RE: Pro/Mechanica and WinXP?

Runs just fine on XP.  Are you using build 2001430?  They just posted a patch on their website too, probably unrelated to your problem.

RE: Pro/Mechanica and WinXP?

To point out the obvious,
When you got a new puter, did you get a new license pack?

RE: Pro/Mechanica and WinXP?

If you will run Pro Engineer under XP, you MUST make sure that your harddisk is NTFS-formattet, otherwise the program will not run.

Hope this can help

Michael
