Unigraphics wont start up

Unigraphics wont start up

Unigraphics wont start up

(OP)
I've installed unigraphics NX3.0 but when the intial logo screen appears when opening, the message, 'The Graphics Window has detected an error and is not able to initialise' comes up and the program closes. Any Ideas to why this happens...?

RE: Unigraphics wont start up

What OS?
What video card/drivers/video ram?
How much system ram?
Do you have a valid license?
What processor(s)?
What is the phase of the moon?

RE: Unigraphics wont start up

(OP)
OS - Windows XP home edition
Video Card - ATI Radeon 9600 (256mb)
512mb system ram
I have a valid license
AMD Athlon Processor 3000+ 2.00GHz
Not sure on the moon phase.

So whats not right?

RE: Unigraphics wont start up

OS and graphics card are not suported.

UG only runs on XPpro, not XPhome. This has been documented by UGS.

Graphics card may work. I have a Radeon 9800pro that does work.

"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.
