Section View

I am trying to make a section view of a part, and insert it in a drawing.  I only want to show the outline of the part that actually touches the plane I am cutting with.  Any edges behind the plane should not be availible.  Currently, the only option I know of is to do a normal section view and hide every edge I don't want.  Is there an easier way?

RE: Section View

When placing the view, select Display only surface

I feel stupid now.  Thank You.

RE: Section View

Make the section cut in the drawing, not in the model. In the property manager in the left side bar there will be an option to only show the surfaces that are cut (I can't remember the wording, but that is one of the three choices given). That sounds like what you're looking for.
