MODIFY A HOLE

MODIFY A HOLE

MODIFY A HOLE

(OP)
Hi All,

using ProE2001
I have a 3 hole pattern with a countersink, which was created by the add a hole feature.  I can not modify any of the dimensions of the hole except the PCD dimension when trying to double click in the model.  It tells me that the dimension are read only, I checked and there is not read only features set.  I can modify the dimension by redefining the hole feature, but that is a pain.  I also wish to add that hole dim to a family table but if will not let me do so because it is read only.

I have the config.pro setting allow hole override set to yes but this does not help.  Has this always been the case or is there something I am missing?

Hi Steve,

Thanks, I just do not ever remember coming across this before.

RE: MODIFY A HOLE

There is some logic to their madness.
I guess since the clearance hole and threaded hole are build on the same features, the only way to modify the diameter would be to redefine the size of the screw/bolt that passes through the hole.
