Hi every body¡

Does anybody know where can I get some info about Mechanical, physical and chemical properties of Incolloy 840?

Does anybody have some idea who in Europe can provide it?

RE: Incolloy 840

Type "Incolloy 840" on Goggle

RE: Incolloy 840

Contact the folks at the web site below;

http://www.specialmetals.com/

They are excellent to work with and will provide information on Incoloy 840 material.

It appears that this is a relatively new material, and is used as sheathing for immersion heaters.

RE: Incolloy 840

Incoloy 840 is an OLD alloy.  Primary use was, as metengr stated, sheathing for heating elements.

RE: Incolloy 840

peter6, I've managed to obtain our old data sheets that list chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of Incoloy 840.  Are there particular properties you're interested in?  If so, what are they and I'll give you them, if you want all of it I have to either scan or type the info in.  Let me know.

Here's what I have.  I in no way guarantee the accuracy of the stated values.  Typical properties are listed and should not be used for specification.
