Force an Assembly to Update

Force an Assembly to Update

I have an assembly that is driven with an excel spreadsheet.  Sometimes when I change the values in Excel, the update button does not light up in inventor (I believe inventor checks the reference files and activates the update button when changes have been made)  Anyway, is there a way to force this polling to occor?

Are you saving the Excel sheet?

Yes.  This issue is worked out (sort of).  It seems that there were some adaptive parts that were hanging things up.  If I turn them off and then save the excel spreadsheet, it activates the update button and everything works well.

Thanks,
Dave
