Simple 2-D truss in ANSYS Workbench 10

Simple 2-D truss in ANSYS Workbench 10

(OP)
Hi there. I've just started using ANSYS Workbench 10.0. I want to make a simple truss structure in 2-D of a bridge with loads at different nodes on the truss.

I started DesignModeller and made a 2-D sketch, but have no idea how to get it to mesh etc! I have looked through all the help files, but all it seems to say is how to import NASTRAN mesh data, for example.

I'm beginning to suspect the license may not be set up right, as I can't seem to find what I want.

Any ideas? Thanks very much for taking the time to help.

Chris
