'Drag and drop ' method for sketch based features

(OP)

 Hi,

I m fairly new to catia. Can 'drag and drop' method be used for sketch based features in Part design. Suppose I make a pocket in a body..can I drag and drop it to make another pocket in the same body ? how will I retain both the pockets?

Thanks and cheers

RE: 'Drag and drop ' method for sketch based features

Hi,

You can Copy-Paste the sketch and use on a new location in the same body (only if you dont have some restrictions regarding using multifeatures in the same body).

Fernando

RE: 'Drag and drop ' method for sketch based features

in order to duplicate the feature (pocket) using the drag on drop, you need to press CTRL key so the feature will be duplicated not just moved...
