When reviewing a WPS submittal that is based on qualification testing per D1.1, D1.1 or D1.4, is it common practice to also review the supporting PQR?

I always do.  I won't accept the WPS unless I've also approved the PQR.

Thanks for the response HgTX. I had been trying to convince a collegue of mine to do so but to no avail. I got him to read your response to this question and now he is having second thoughts.

I take the same approach when reviewing a concrete mix design on materials I am not familiar with and have no data on..just got to see the test results etc used for establishing a standard deviation or three point W/C ratio vs strength curve.
