I just got a freebee from solidworks called DWG Gateway.
Did anybody else get this. It looks useful for opening old dwg files.Anybody got any information on it?

RE: dwg gateway

I think it work the same as DWGEditor from Solidworks.  I have some old dwg files that can not be open in newer version of AutoCad but DWGEditor did the trick, which saves me alot of time and effort in trying to retreive lost data.

RE: dwg gateway

Hi berkshire,

I have been using DWGGateway for quite a while, and it has been a great utility, I have yet to have any issues with it.
