Suggest fabricator for rectangular crush tubes

Suggest fabricator for rectangular crush tubes

(OP)
Hi all.

We are trying to assist a client in pricing some crush tubes for a damaged railcar.

The tubes to replace are described as follows:

80 x 80 x 5mm  sq. tube with 5 mm inward indentation in 2 webs at mid-span (approx. length 900mm)

250mm round tube x 5 m thick with an outward bulge of 5 mm at mid-span ( approx.length 500mm)

Can anyone suggest a fabricator (preferably Canada or US) capable of this, for small quantities (say 20 of each)?

Thank you in advance.

tg

Try Boyce Industries in Illinois - not sure if they do rail parts but they do short run tube fabrications
