(OP)
Dear people
I want to study an interference coupling by the use of COSMOS: I have a shaft and a bush. They are coupled with interference (the outer shaft diameter is bigger then the inner bush diameter). An axial load is applied to the bush. Is it possible that the bush move around the shaft? Is it possible to study this scenario using Cosmos?
Thank you
Manini

RE: interference coupling

Model in their assembled state (no overlap) and assign different temperatures to the two pieces to achive the interference fit. Now you can see what happens as you apply loads.
