Is there software available to determine the shear and tnsile strength of plastic bolts and nuts?

You might take a look at this US site for SR-1. They have a demo.

Some things that the plastic may affect are fatigue, creep, and stress concentrations in threads. As far as I’m aware there is not fatigue limit for plastics, however, plastics are always changing. In addition temperature will play a much larger effect on the fastener which could lead to creep and loose fasteners. Finally, on the plus side, plastic has a tendency to deform and ease stress concentrations, where steel, depending on grade, will have a tendency to start cracking.
Just some thoughts.
