PUTTING A FILLET ON EDGE?

PUTTING A FILLET ON EDGE?

PUTTING A FILLET ON EDGE?

(OP)
I HAVE A PART I SPLIT WITH COMPLEX SURFACE.  NOW I AM TRYING TO PLACE FILLET ON PART EGDES AFTER A SHELL.  THE FILLETS WORK ON JUST A FEW EDGES.  DOES ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS.

RE: PUTTING A FILLET ON EDGE?

What does the error message say?

Does it work with a smaller radius?

What kind of propogation are you using?

RE: PUTTING A FILLET ON EDGE?

If propagation is set to tangency then you have a edge tangency problem that you should fix first.

RE: PUTTING A FILLET ON EDGE?

Is there any possibility of confusion for the path that the fillet has to follow??? if so, you might have to select the edges you want to keep.

It happend to me sometimes when i want to create a fillet over an edge that in a point is tangent to two other edges and the software doesn't know where to go, so I just have to select the edge I want to fillet and the one i want to keep.
