Grip: help with pattern revision

Grip: help with pattern revision

Grip: help with pattern revision

(OP)
Hi folks,
I have another grip related problem that I'm working on.  This time, I need to develop a routine that expands the existing dwg sheet format into the drawing, so that the copyright notice can be updated.
Since I'm dealing with a wide variety of formats, with multiple revisions, I need to be able to read and use the revision of the existing pattern (not necessarily the latest revision existing).  If I 'info' the pattern from within UG, I get something like: "PATTERN-E/C", with the '/' being the deliminator between part name and revision (this is in teamcenter btw...native just gives the basic part number).
What I need is a means of getting the same information via grip that I would get if I manually info'd the pattern as described above, or a means of getting the pattern name and revision somehow.  &PATPRT just provides the part name, not the revision... and I need to use the existing revision and not the latest...  Any ideas???  Any and all help would be appreciated, and of course...TIA
