Space Pilot Slows Down ProE

I've currently got a free trial of a 3D Connexion Space Pilot, as I'm starting to develop RSI in my mouse hand. I like what it does but its slowing my machine down to the point that its almost unusable. Has anybody got any suggestions that might help?

I'm running XP & ProE WF2 on a 3GHz processor with 2Gb of RAM.

Thanks, AJ

Did you have another fancy mouse before that (with lots of programmable buttons?). We had a spacepilot in our office (demo, too) and to make it work smoothly we had to uninstall some Logitech drivers that were apparently conflicting with it.

Lucky you.. At my old job, I was told that I had to already be keeled over in pain from carpal tunnel syndrome before I could get a spaceball.

Thanks for the tip.  I ended up uninstalling it for a day as I had to get some stuff done quickly.  Before I reinstalled it I ditched the unused drivers and its running much faster now.

Thanks again, AJ
