Slim line fan coil needed

Slim line fan coil needed

Slim line fan coil needed

(OP)
I got a problem with very little ceiling space for a 4-pipe fan coil units to serve a corridior.

7" total ceiling space for ceiling mounted units .... similar to EMI CAF4-08 ....... EMI's are 9+"

Will take a wall mounted (up high) near the ceiling ..... something slimline w/ integral condensate pump.

I don't have room for an air system.

Thanks

RE: Slim line fan coil needed

Trane has some fan coil units that you could use- I think the type is Slim Line HFO.

I have no room for ductwork

Sounds like you may have to go to a refrigerant based system like Mitsubishi CITY Multi units (heat pumps).

Perhaps if you're desparate and have room locate the Condensing unit in a location that can be heated/cooled by your hydronic system.

RE: Slim line fan coil needed

Consider console type unit located in room of consider horizontal unit installed in toilet room that can have lower ceiling & fan coil discharged ti adjacent corridor.

This is an old hospital circa 1915 ..... corridor is non-patient ....... there is a slew of electrical conduits/steam/pumped condensate lines above the ceiling.

The ceiling height is 7'-0".

The walls are 12" thick concrete.

They don't build them like this today.

RE: Slim line fan coil needed

Try a company called Multi-Aqua. I Believe they have some wall mounted units.
