Library feature configurations within a DT

Library feature configurations within a DT

Is it possible in SW2006 to control which configuration of a Library feature is used with a design table?  I have several different configurations in a model and I would like to have a design table call a different configuration of a library feature that is used.

RE: Library feature configurations within a DT

I just tested it in an assembly and was unable to control the Library parts with a DT / Configuration.

If I get more time to play with this I will, because I would think the data is there and SW should be able to pull the Config parameters.

RE: Library feature configurations within a DT

Scott,

I'm working with a part, not an assembly.  Its not a library part I want to control, but a library feature.  SW2005 and SW2006 both support configurations of library features, after inserting a library feature in a part you can change which config is used.  I would like to be able to change the configuration of the library feature for the different configurations of the part using a DT.

Thanks,
mncad
