CAD Software

(OP)
Hello Friends,

I am to help my company choose the most appropriate 3D CAD software. What are the best CAD softwares in the market? Which of these would be best suited for low end work in the AEC industry?

RE: CAD Software

Hi,
I can recommend you a new 3D parametric design software. It is called Revit and you can download the demo from www.revit.com. It is really good and easy to use. Plus, you can import and export dwg, dxf and dgn files. With its parametric desgin engine, it maintans the 100% consistency of design whenever you make a change. You can design from site conditions to building systems. Also, it has pretty good rendering options. Photorealistic view may not be as powerfull as 3D Studio viz but still good. One more thing, the price is reasonable too. It has a monthly subscribtion fee, so pay it as you use it. I hpe this will be helpful.
