DXF from .slddrw without SolidWorks?
DXF from .slddrw without SolidWorks?
(OP)
Our prototype department frequently needs dxf files for various uses--to make cut templates, rout parts, etc. They currently request those files from us (the drafters); we simply open the .slddrw file and save as DXF. It would be super-terrific if they could create their own DXF files. Does a program exist that can open a .slddrw and save as DXF without SolidWorks?
The alternative would be one seat of SolidWorks that they could access in turn to create DXF files. I'd prefer a separate program.
Fingers crossed... thanks!
