Can anyone tell me where to find information on designing Geothermal Heating/Cooling systems?

RE: Geothermal Heating/Cooling Systems

I wrote a report for the Desert Research Institute in Reno, NV around 1974.  They included my report as part of a larger report that they published.

RE: Geothermal Heating/Cooling Systems

Where are you designing this system for?  I've been designing and working with these systems from 5 ton systems to 300 ton systems for 6 years.  www.geoexchange.com is a good place for information.  I'm not sure where there is a site that will tell you how to design one.  Do you want to do a horizontal/vertical loop field and are you doing a dx or gx system.  I can add more info if you have more details.

RE: Geothermal Heating/Cooling Systems

If you'r interesting on producing ectricity out of the geothermal water - stop at:  www.ormat.com.
For just cooling search for heatexchangers manufacturer (Smithco, other)
