Laundry room

(OP)
Hello there,

Should we design a laundry room (about 50 dryers and washers) with negative pressure to keep contamination/chemical inside the room, or positive pressure to keep the laundry room dry?  Is there a standard design we have to follow for a laundry room?
Any help is much appreciated.

RE: Laundry room

The positive pressure may not help you keep the washing area dry. I would rather focus on containment issue and keep it negative. In pharmaceutical plants, laundries are kept at negative pressure w.r.to adjacent spaces.

RE: Laundry room

I would keep the pressure negative and use a dehumidifier in order to keep the room dry.

TOO MUCH LOAD

... at least that is a frequently used
and realistic approach
