I´m making thermal-stress simulatiuon with Ansys, mybe someone can tell me how could I calculate the yield stress of the different materials of my geometry, to see if the "von misses stress" is above those values.

The yield stress ist material dependent an you must know it. If you defined your material as linear (no plasticity) there is no way ansys could compute any plasticity effects.
So be more precise, please.

Thank you Alex, I have a geometry with different materials, gold, copper, and the mismatch CTEs produces stress on my cooling process.
In order to compute my results I read I should know the yield stress of the materials of my geometry to see if the von Misses Stress I get on my modules from the results of the simulations are above this values. That would give an idea of the reliability of this geometry.

Hi,

 Stress is the term used when load is applied on the component.
Strength is the term used for material dependen

Hence it is better to use terminology yield strength instead of yield stress.

i.m.h.o. it's the original question that doesn't make any sense: yeld strength of the materials, as mihaiupb says, MUST be known by the designer before starting any calculation, be it FE or analytical!!! I agree that maraia's problem is that some of the material involved don't have a yeld point but rather a continuous transition, but even in this case there are other (normated...) ways: deviation from proportionality, etc.
Then, once the strength limits (both for tensile and shear) are known, one can input them into the appropriate dialog in ANSYS (Failure Criteria) in order for the program to give plots of the stresses relative to the limits (i.e. a safety factor distribution).
