RE: Autocad drawing paste to Excel

Hello MauroMalacara

It seems that Autodesk and microsoft have different viewpoints about copy and paste.  I use a different approach.  There is an option in Adobe Acrobat professional version 6/7 that allows you to convert ACAD drawing file into TIFF or JPG picture format. Office XP applications loves pictures.

Hope this helps,

John

RE: Autocad drawing paste to Excel

Hi,
is there any batch tool which can extract text from dwg, from layers as well, which we could use for text indexing (we need to include text from layers in our text index)?

Thanks,
Jelena
