Fiberglass or steel conveyor belting

(OP)
I am interested to hear of others experiences with teflon coated fiberglass belts, my particular interest is for a heat transfer application with .010" thick belting operating at 300°F and less than 300 ft/min. 1) What type of life do they get. 2) Have you experienced tracking problems. 3) What head pulley diameter 4) Crowned vs. flat pulleys. 5) Lagging materials.

I am also interested in similar discussion of steel belts (NOT WOVEN) probably .016" thick. 1) pulley diameter 2) Lagging materials. 3) What type of joining method works best for you, riveted or welded. 4) What type of take-up tension is required. 5) Slider bed materials, does steel belt on steel slider bed result in galling.

Thanks
